bout 200 years ago a great battle took place on the hills where this manor stood. Lord Ansor the King of the time had been chasing a plague of demon spawn with his legionary army of Rakshasa and Man. They thought that they had finally got them trapped when the dark lord of the underworld showed his head. Within 5 minutes the once great armies of Lord Ansor lay waste at his will. The foul demon lord stood over the crippled body of Ansor to gloat his victory over man. This though turned out to be the daemons undoing for Ansor had enough strength to plunge his mighty sword into the demons carapace. Once a hole had been made, he called for the blessing of his god to undo what had been done. A searing light shone from his hand and travelled along the sword, entering the wound it had created. There was a flash and a almighty explosion as the light expanded from the two bodies. Destroying everything in its wake. Both man and demon. It was a sacrifice all those who witnessed understood. Myself being one of them.

The Spot where they both fell is the great tree that now grows in the manors garden. Those of us who did survive started work on the buildings you see today. We became guardians of this area. Many years past and people started to settle the surrounding areas.

Then, one day the Vampire clans attacked, they laid siege to the manor and we took up defence. Something they wanted was located in these walls. The siege lasted for 1 year. Nether side budging. The Vampires came up with a plan, to take the nearby village hostage and murder its occupants. In the hope we would attempt to save them. This despicable action was the worse move they could make. For a young warrior and his 3 friends had just been residing in the village for a few days. Together they took down 100 of those undying horrors. Seeing the confusion we also attacked with full strength and the 2nd great war begin. This time it was our side that decimated there’s The young warrior who we now know as Lord Quan and his 3 friends out flanked and defeated the remaining Vampires. For the Vampires though it was not a complete loss, during the confusion they had broken into the depths of the manor to where the tomb of lord Ansor lay. This tomb lay deep under the manor directly under the tree. While no body lay in this tomb it did contain the sword that defeated the first army of demons. The intruders only mange to steal part of this weapon. In a panic they snapped the blade in half. They escaped with this half. Even today we are unsure why they took it, my guess was they only wanted to destroy the weapon, in fear that someday it could be used much the same as it was before.

After the battle we decided to pledged our loyalty to the band of warriors that helped cast out these demons. Quan took up this offer and has stayed with us ever since. Protecting the manor and looking over these lands.
