When I arrived at Telon, I decided to help out the elf's first. I was rifted to Veskal's exchange on the eastern edge of the Elven forest. Most of the tasks on offer was far beyond what I could possibly achieve but one task offered was a delivery to Thenar's Shield. On the other side of the forest.

I wanted to see the land so gladly took up the contract.



The sun was setting and I knew travel at night wasn't safe but I set out anyway.

Soon I crossed the river leading to the heart of the forest.



It was around this point when things started to go bad. Some how in the darkess I ended off the road and lost in the wilderness. It was getting darker and more creepy crawlies where appearing.



I came across a Elf church of some kind, the occupants told me of a pass to the north which I can use to cross the mountans and head towards Renton keep.



So I headed north though the forest, as I explored I came across elf ruins and other structures over taken by nature.

When crossing a bridge the trees themselfs attacked me. Little did they know I was a lumberjack by trade and the tree was no match for me:



Heading more north I came across amazing sights but the pass eluded me.



Dawn was apporching and I decided to head south, checking my map I saw that a river headed south then west though the mountans. I should be able to cross there.



Success, the map was correct and I followed the river into a area called the spider bluffs.





I had to make a river crossing and I wasn't quite expecting the current to be quite so strong, the river sweeped me down stream until I managed to make my way to the shore. I must remeber in the future to be more careful when crossing water.



Finally after a few hours of hiking I had made it out of the forest.



Also I discovered the road that I had lost many hours ago.



Renton Keep. I was exorcised but I still had many miles to go. So I rented a Griffin for the final stretch of the journey. It was about midday at this point.







Finally I reached Thenar's Shield. It is a dam over a river built by dwarfs. I delivered the box, got paid 80 copper and rested while I planned the next part of my journey. I am not sure if I should head back or head south to the capital city. I need to find somewhere I can get a horse.
