I think this is the 4th time I have posted something like this, Chapter 3, Book 3, Book 0.

Anyway the plans for this new module seem a bit more solid. The last 3 modules I think had too much planning done for them. This caused major road blocks when I hit something that was too complex.

This module goal is to show what happened after the last two books. Its set about 4-5 years on ( about the same amount of time I have been away from NWN. ) I am going to reuse alot of locations from Book 1 and Book 0/3. Expand on the Manor itself opening up closed doors ( and closing off a few ).

Characters will start at LvL 15 but it won't be directly following on from the end of Book 2. Max level cap will be 40.

The story is the players are part of a new task force that has been training at the Manor. A bunch of rookies but well trained ( thus the lvl 15 start ). I don't know how to handel vets from Book 2 but I'll come to that as I go along. Maybe have them treated as officers.

Planned Features:

Set on the east coast based from the Manor.

Strong Mission based story arcs. Loads of mini quests that have the players out and about managing the conflicts of the world. Gnoll disagreements, patrols, dragon control.

Over arcing main story.

Loads of old locations upgraded with new placeables and scripting.

Loads of new locations. Tropical islands, Old ruined castles, the rebuilt city of stonewall.

All the old characters back. No ones going to be missing down a hole this time.

The ability to set start locations. I will add a system that allows people to set there save location to certain points. So you can customize your home base etc. Like the wow hearth stone.

Complex battles. This will be the tricky part and I hope the level 15 start will let me balance it for solo play.

New loot system to issue rare loot to party members on party kills.

Return of the Necrolich.

I have been remaking and upgrading the main NPC's for the module. Most people have new outfits except Raka who still looks the same as Book 2 and Howin has had no changes.

Hanner on the right has one of the new robes on.
