Elder Scrolls Online
Developed by the team at Zenimax Online Studios, The Elder Scrolls Online merges the unmatched exploration of rich worlds that the franchise is known for with the scale and social aspects of a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. Players will discover an entirely new chapter of Elder Scrolls history in this ambitious world, set a millennium before the events of Skyrim as the daedric prince Molag Bal tries to pull all of Tamriel into his demonic realm.
"It will be extremely rewarding finally to unveil what we have been developing the last several years," said game director and MMO veteran Matt Firor, whose previous work includes Mythic's well-received Dark Age of Camelot. "The entire team is committed to creating the best MMO ever made – and one that is worthy of The Elder Scrolls franchise."
An in-depth look at everything from solo questing to public dungeons awaits in our enormous June cover story – as well as a peek at the player-driven PvP conflict that pits the three player factions against each other in open-world warfare over the province of Cyrodiil and the Emperor's throne itself.

SCROLLS
Notch the creator of Minecraft has thrown down the gaultet over the whole Scrolls trademark lawsuit:
The only negative thing going on at this moment is the Scrolls trademark lawsuit nonsense, and I think I came up with the perfect solution:All courtcases should be settled in Quake 3. We would live in a much better world.
Remember that scene in Game of Thrones where Tyrion chose a trial by battle in the Eyrie? Well, let’s do that instead! I challenge Bethesda to a game of Quake 3. Three of our best warriors against three of your best warriors. We select one level, you select the other, we randomize the order. 20 minute matches, highest total frag count per team across both levels wins.
If we win, you drop the lawsuit.
If you win, we will change the name of Scrolls to something you’re fine with.
Regardless of the outcome, we could still have a small text somewhere saying our game is not related to your game series in any way, if you wish.
I am serious, by the way.

Skyrim - Consoles first PC last
Skyrim is once again is being developed on the consoles first then ported back to the PC. I have a feeling that every one of their games has been like this since Morrowind.
I am fine with this so long as:
a) PC gets mod tools.
b) PC gets higher textures.
c) PC gets its own menu system desgined for a mouse.
What worries me is this quote from the same guy saying that its all about ' accessibility ' which means dumbing things down.
I am not going to really judge the game until its released. Oblivion was more dumbed down than Morrowind but it had enough new stuff to make it stand apart. Oblivion would have been awesome if they had all the complexity of Morrorwind but they cut it out.
As we were saying last night in chat:
' Whats the bet that Skyrim only has one armor slot. '
