Guildwars 2 server details

I am not too keen on how this works. Locked to a server, costs you gems ( money ) to transfer and its all or nothing:

I was hoping they would just avoid stand alone servers and opt for region realms. So then I don't have to bother with queues, dead realms / over populated realms and just being trapped.

Having been screwed over TWICE now with Rift making ' trial ' servers forcing me to loose my characters names TWICE. It makes me think I should wait a month or two until after the release hype and see what the servers are like before jumping in headlong.

TotalBiscuit explains Grimrock

I had to stop watching it because it looks far too good and I don't want to be spoiled but this video will hopefully show why I can't wait for this game.
